This cured sausage has a slightly stronger taste, with a distinct spice flavor with lots of garlic. It is very popular on pizza. The consistency should be firm and cut-fast with a nice colour. The meat must be coarsely chopped. Meat raw material from pork, heart, tongue and spices.
Shelf life
Sliced and vacuum-packed cured meats have a long shelf life as long as they are unopened, often many months. Whole bacon sausages that have been opened should not be stored in tight plastic, instead wrap them in paper or a bacon bag. Dry cutting surface can be cut away. Divided cured food is best stored in the refrigerator.
